The TeamAlert app alarm is triggered by a push message to the phone. If we cannot confirm that the push message was received, SMS is the preferred fallback option.
Some possible reasons for not receiving the push message include:
- Phone is outside cell coverage
- Data traffic is deactivated on phone
- Notifications from TeamAlert is not allowed or blocked
- TeamAlert has been uninstalled
- TeamAlert has been force-closed
- (Android) Automatic battery-saving on the phone has terminated the app or refuses the app to start
